August 2024 Update - Freddy Robotics

I've been full-time for 30 days now building Freddy. I spent my time this month:

• Finding, inviting, and interviewing potential cofounders
• Learning CAD + researching similar products (Moxie, Miko)
• Designing the Freddy Dog enclosure + interactions
• Building two working prototypes of Freddy Dog

My goal for the next month is to sell our first DIY Build Kit.

Here's what's left before I can do that:

• Create a self-buildable dog enclosure
• Find a suitable portable power supply for our MVP
• Transition from USB Coral TPUs to soldered Coral TPUs
• Create a video build guide for customers
• Record a working demo using a physical MVP
• Create Stripe Checkout link + landing page

Our build kit will cost $299 (excluding shipping + taxes) - we'll make ~$99 on each kit.

Excited to finalize our MVP in the next two weeks and begin getting Freddy in customer's hands.
